Sparkling Wine
ZARDETTO ‘PRIVATE CUVÈE’ BRUT - PROSECCO, ITALY - N.V.
$12.00
Dry, refreshing, and bursting with energy! The bubbles release aromas of pear, apple, and peach. On the palate, it offers a hint of spice and a crisp sensation. A fun and lively Prosecco that’s sure to kick off any occasion right.
‘GREEK ROSÉ’ - KIR-YIANNI ‘AKAKIES’ | MACEDONIA, GREECE - 2023
$16.00
Made from the native grape Xinomavro, this one sure is Greek to me—and probably to you too! But hey, the producer, Kir-Yianni, has crafted this native variety into one of the most aromatic and delicious wines around. Its bright wild strawberry notes suggest sweetness, but it finishes completely dry and balanced.
**PRO-PAGNE - PROSECCO MEETS CHAMPAGNE + A CAVA
$22.00
Look out — this wine list is on fire! Three half flutes are placed before you. One is Prosecco, one is a Spanish Cava, and the last is the real deal—true Champagne. Your task is to identify all three, and if you succeed, you’ll be a Champ-ion! You know what they say, ‘No ‘pagne, no gain!’
'BARBIE SPARKLES' - DOMAINE RONDEAU BUGEY CERDON, FRANCE - N.V.
$14.00
One of the most intriguing wines from France is unapologetically pink, slightly sweet, and bubbly. This wine hails not from a town or even a small village, but from the tiniest of hamlets in the south of France. Typically enjoyed as an aperitif, it also pairs beautifully with our array of Chocolate Boards and Crème Brûlée.
White Wine
**DANCE KIWI DANCE! - A NEW ZEALAND SAUVIGNON BLANC DOES THE FLAMENCO
$17.00
Everyone seems to love a crisp New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, but there's a Spanish white wine that wants to challenge the beloved Kiwi to a dance-off. Entering the discotheque is Pardevalles, a white wine made from the ultra-unknown Albarín varietal. This rare grape type is indigenous to Northwest Spain, and is suspiciously close to a New Zealand Sauv. So can you identify the Kiwi? Is the beloved Sauvy B the star, or is the Albarín taking the crown?
**SANCERRE WHERE? - SANCERRE & A LOIRE VALLEY SAUVIGNON BLANC
$18.00
Two French white wines are placed before you. One hails from the renowned region of Sancerre. This French region has produced sought-after white wines for over a thousand years! But there’s a challenger looking to give Sancerre a run for its money: Jacques Dumont's Sauvignon Blanc from just outside Sancerre, in the Loire. Can you identify the true Sancerre? Is the other a worthy competitor at a third of the price? Prefer just a glass of the Sancerre? It’s only $22. 00
OVUM ‘BIG SALT’ — WHITE BLEND | WILLAMETTE VALLEY, OREGON - 2024
$15.00
It’s a long drive—or an expensive flight—to get to the ocean! But order a glass of Big Salt and be instantly teleported to the beach. This dry, unoaked wine has a saline or sea spray quality to it. A real vacation in a glass!
**THE IBERIAN TWINS - SPANISH ALBARIÑO VS. PORTUGUESE ALVARINHO
$17.00
Albariño from Spain and Alvarinho from Portugal may have different names, but they’re the exact same grape. Both produce dry, lighter-styled white wines, yet there are subtle differences. Spanish Albariños tend to be fuller-bodied and a bit less aromatic than their Portuguese counterparts, with a touch more minerality. Folks, this one isn’t easy, but it sure is a fun one!
DIRECTOR’S CUT: GONE WITH THE WINE — LIMITED EDITION OSCAR-WORTHY WINES
MP
Wines are released into our program all the time. Some are around for a short time then leave the screen. Occasionally, we’re left with a few bottles on the cutting room floor—just not enough to warrant a permanent spot on the featured list. Other times, a particular white wine generates real buzz, but despite our enthusiasm, we can only get a handful of bottles. Enter the Director’s Cut: a rotating carousel of limited-run or sleeper hit wines for your enjoyment. Just ask what’s being poured—you might catch a reel wine winner!
**HAVE YOUR CAKE AND DRINK IT TOO! — A CAKEBREAD CHARDONNAY CONFRONTATION
$22.00
Cakebread from Napa is one of the most popular Chardonnays in existence. Its name and label are pure wine-marketing genius. What makes Cakebread unique is that it doesn’t bow to butter fanatics—instead, it channels California sunshine with its brightness. Normally, it's quite expensive and shows up on wine lists for $40 a glass. But here at Milly’s, it’s almost half that price! For this pairing, we’re pouring a more affordable Chardonnay to go head-to-head with it. So—can you find the Cakebread? Is it truly better, or does the rotating challenger take the cake?
**GRAB HOLD OF THE FINGER LAKES — TWO RIESLINGS FROM THE FINGER LAKES, NY
$16.00
Have you ever tasted a wine from the Finger Lakes region of New York? If not, now’s the time to dive in! Typically, the wines we see from the Finger Lakes are either just okay in quality, quite expensive—or both. But behold: the Anthony Road Wine Company. This is the best New York Riesling I’ve ever tasted for the money. This summer, we’re featuring two wines from this winery: one bone dry, the other off-dry. Try them side by side in this pairing, or enjoy a single glass of your preferred style—the choice is yours.
MOSCATO D’ASTI - PIEDMONT, ITALY
$13.00
It’s sweet, and it’s freaking out-of-this-world awesome! Super peachy, with a frizzante (slightly sparkling) texture that keeps it light and ultra-refreshing. Milly's rotates and features the best Moscatos on the market today. It’s candy in a glass!
Rosé & Orange
**GUNS & ROSÉ — PROVENÇAL FRENCH ROSÉ VS. THE WORLD
$16.00
Two half glasses of Rosé are set before you— one is French and one is not. While seemingly every wine-producing region in the world makes rosé, the benchmark is that fresh watermelon wonderfulness that hails only from Provence. There's an appetite for destruction when it comes to beating out Provence. Can you spot the Frenchie, and the one gunning for it?
**ORANGE WINE & PÉT-NAT - THE HOTTEST WINE PAIRING IN 2025
$16.00
Orange wine reigns as the hottest wine style among cool drinkers. But have you discovered the latest rage, Pét-Nat? Simply put, Pét-Nat is a sparkling wine made in a style that predates Champagne. Try 'em both and see what all the kids are into these days. We receive Orange wines and Pét-Nats weekly for consideration, and we offer the best discoveries of both here.
Red Wine
**FIND RON BURGUNDY — A RED BURGUNDY & COASTAL PINOT NOIR
$26.00
Two thrilling half glasses of red wine are placed before you. Simply put, one is a Burgundy and one is not. Correctly identify the ‘Ron Burgundy,’ and you may find yourself in a glass case of emotion! Honestly, Burgundy can sometimes disappoint. But here, you’re guaranteed to experience a stunning Burgundy alongside another killer contender. Can you correctly identify the Ron Burgundy?
‘THE ITALIAN STALLION’ — COPERTINO ‘RISERVA’ NEGROAMARO | PUGLIA, ITALY — 2015
$15.00
A lady is at Milly’s alone. I ask, 'So, how do you like your wine?' She replies, 'earthy.' I press, 'How earthy?' She answers, 'filthy.' Then—no joke—I’m in literal shock when she pauses and says, 'I want it to hurt me.’ Truth be told, I fell for her dirty wine desire right then and there. So I brought her a glass of what we now call The Italian Stallion—a light-bodied, sexy dirtball of a wine.
‘ISN’T IT HAPPY HOUR ANYTIME?’ - A KILLER COST-EFFECTIVE WINE
$9.00
Discovering incredible value-driven wines is important in a sea of overpriced offerings. Here we present you with a rotating selection that won’t break the budget. You don't need to spend a fortune to get an exceptional glass here at Milly's. Just ask your server what's being poured. If you prefer a Happy Hour White, we have that too.
CHILLABLE RED WINE’ - A ROTATING OFFERING FOR THE WARMER MONTHS
$15.00
With so many chillable red wines to choose from, committing to just one for this menu feels impossible. Each week, we sample several worthy contenders—so many, in fact, that we’ve decided to rotate them in one by one every couple of weeks. Just ask your server for the current #1 hit on the wine jukebox.
**RUNNING OF THE BULLS: THE ULTIMATE FIGHT! — EVALUATING EXTREME AGE IN SPANISH RIOJAS
$22.00
Rioja is Spain’s most iconic wine region, known for reds that shine with age. The region’s strict age designations reflect that: Joven (young), Crianza (aged 2 years), Reserva (3), and Gran Reserva (5). Here, we’re showcasing the two extremes: a fresh Joven and the granddaddy of them all—a Gran Reserva from Marqués de Riscal. Most restaurants wouldn’t dare serve a Gran Reserva by the glass due to the price, but at Milly’s, you can experience it alongside its increasingly popular younger cousin. So—is the trend of younger Riojas justified, or is Tempranillo simply better with age?
‘A MASTER SOMMELIER’S RED’ — A ROTATING RED WINE SO GOOD, IT’S MASTER SOMMELIER-APPROVED
$13.00
Years ago, I was seated with six or more Master Sommeliers for dinner in California. This was quite a high concentration of Master Somms, given that there are only 279 in the world! The moment was tense with anticipation when the server brought over the wine list. What wines do Master Sommeliers order? It turns out they zero in on great wines that are—get this—very inexpensive! So, go ahead and savor the Master Sommelier-approved red wine currently in rotation.
**A TALE OF TWO ZINS — YOUNG VS. OLD VINE ZINFANDEL: A THEORY IS QUESTIONED
$21.00
Winemakers love to say it: 'It’s old vine.' Or, 'This comes from 50-year-old vines.' Some even boast, 'These grapes come from ancient, gnarly-looking, 100-year-old vines!’ From vintners to connoisseurs, it’s widely believed—the older the vine, the better the wine. Now it’s your turn to test the theory. We’re pouring two Zinfandels side by side: one from young vines, one from old. And no better winery to showcase the difference than California producer, Seghesio, an American icon when it comes to Zinfandel. So—is the old adage true? Does old vine really mean better wine?
**‘IF ANYONE ORDERS MERLOT, I’M LEAVING!’ — TWO NAPA VALLEY MERLOTS REWRITE THE SCRIPT
$19.00
In the 2004 film Sideways, the melancholy oenophile Miles (played by Paul Giamatti) belted out an immortal phrase… and Merlot sales tanked. To this day, they still haven’t fully recovered. It’s a shame—but it also means there are some excellent wines out there for exceptional prices. In this pairing, two iconic Napa producers go head-to-head: Duckhorn Vineyards, a blue-chip stock for American Merlot, and a restaurant-only release from Markham. The Markham is the underdog here, coming in at about half the price. Can you spot the Duckhorn, and is it worth the splurge?
CLETO CHIARLI ‘CENTENARIO’ — LAMBRUSCO | EMILIA ROMAGNA, ITALY — N.V.
$12.00
What a fantastic red wine! Lambrusco is the grape, and refreshment is the game. Served chilled, it’s frizzante (slightly sparkling) and finishes with just the right amount of light sweetness. Embrace this wine!
